Where can someone get some tips on how to pass the SSB interview?

Let us take that you are a naive player and I give you a full flesh description of what you just asked. SSB consists of two stage test . Stage I . Screening Stage II . Conference Screening test is a first day test where a certain test sets are there for accessing the candidate for recommending him/her for furthur selection in Stage II test. Those who get recommened for Stage II stay there for 4 more days and if he/she gets recommended in Stage II then stays for medical. Screening test consists of two tests . OIR (Officer Intelligence Rating) . It happens to be the first test in the morning and consists of Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning test. Verbal and non verbal questions can be practised via online or if you prefer any SSB book, it’d be having it. All you have to do is just practise and make your speed faster and answer accurately. The OIR has ratings from 1 to 4. 1 . Very Intelligent 2 . Intelligent 3 . Average 4 . Below average Note . SSB doesn't prefer a candidate having OIR 4, it is very exceptional if a candidate having 4 OIR getting recommended for Stage II. So try to attempt maximum question, there is no negative marking so in the last moment you can do Jai Mata Di and answer too. 2. PPDT or PP&DT (Picture Peeception and Description Test) . Might the abbrevation has given you some idea as it is your basic perception test, your imagination test and will reveal what you think after seeing some problem or a picture. Well coming to the topic, after completing OIR the pyschologist will come and describe you furthur about PPDT, so listen each and every thing carefully and don't ask silly question, however you are welcome to clear your doubts. You'd be a given a picture and you can observe it for 30 seconds and make a story in your mind which you have to write in 4 minutes. Only one picture will be shown to you and after 30 seconds there is no looking back. Jus start writing and try to finish it as soon as possible. People do say that work upon your fisrt thought that comes to your mind, what I’d suggest to be free minded and fresh and think positively and make a story accordingly. Natural story are prefered most not Krish types. Note . For practising PPDT again via internet or prefer any SSB book and write your story without even seeing the predefined story given there. Make your story narratable and genuine after all you also have to describe it and make everyone to agree upon your story. After that your group would be sent to a room where the three deligates i.e, Interviewing officer, GTO (Group Testing Officer) and Psychologist would be sitting there to access you all. Nervousness would be there but don't let your nervousness comes between you and your mind. Evryone’d be given 1 minute to narrate their story and after the last person finishes the story the discussion will start to come to a common conclusion for your group and what story you guys select. So practise speaking and narration part in 1 minute. Again, the GTO will describe each and evrything to you so listen to him carefully. It is easy if you are confident and tough if you are nervous. Be confident chap and treat yourself like an officer, you'll get through. Not describing about Stage II, as your question doesn't demands for it. Wish you all the best. Jai Hind!
